Use this Checklist to inspect your boat’s equipment for compliance with
legal requirements and to make sure it’s safely equipped. Unless noted as
“recommended,” the items listed are required by law.
The Inspection is not intended to be a boat survey, but rather an equipment
and conditions guide and checklist that help you identify areas needing
attention to ensure that your boat is safe for you and your passengers and
in compliance with the law.
