Florida is home to some of the best cavern and cave diving in the world. Caverns
and caves can be found throughout most of Florida but the most famous are in the
northern part of the state; commonly called "Cave Country". Ginnie Springs,
Peacock Springs, Blue Grotto and
Devil's Den are just a few.
Most systems in Northern Florida are affected by river water levels. Click
here to check river water levels. Also,
numerous systems on the West Coast of Florida are tidally influenced. Click here to check tides.
The information provided below will be based on my dive experience and not simply
the same information that can be found at other cave diving sites. I will always
try to include pictures, GPS coordinates and some overall discussion about the
dive site. In addition, more information regarding each system can be found using
the Florida Geological Survey 66 or 31.
