Hidden in the depths of marinas of the St. Petersburg channels off
of Tampa Bay (Salt Creek for those that know it), lies a great
little restaurant called Fish Tales…I emphasize little. Fish Tales
offers an array of Florida cuisine, such as skillets, grouper
sandwiches, and a great hamburger. The staff was wonderful and the
mooring was simple and easily accessible.
Fish Tales offers indoor and outdoor seating and I hear they have
entertainment occasionally. Seriously, they have live entertainment
every Saturday night from 8 - 11 PM. Although, while we were there, the
majority of its patrons were mainly interested in the football
games showing in the bar area. Definitely a great stop while you
are in the St. Pete area.
Worth noting is that on your way to Fish Tales, up Salt Creek, there
is a free pump out just as you enter Salt Creek on your starboard
side.
